Advantages Including: 1. fast growing ( 4 years averages compared with other timber's 25 years.)
2. good mechanical properties.
3. Manufacturing process of bamboo products is environment friendly (compared
with cement and steel.)
Disvantages: 1. Not local
2. Durability
3. Application Technology
Application: 1. Non-structure ( Flooring, Siding, Furniture...)
2. Structure (reinforced for brick, composite or laminated)
As structure members, Need to know the maximum compressive and tensile stress of the material.
This is a good outline for your abstract. Remember that the abstract must be written in sentence form.
